I wrote a glossary of TF terms.
PLEASE NOTE: These terms are a mix of canon and fanon. It changes from continuity to continuity, and from fanfic author to fanfic author. It’s only a guide, and I have no intention of saying I know more than anyone else. Please take it with a grain of salt.
A NSFW section exist, I will publish it in another post.
Miscellaneous terms
Berth: Bed
Bond: A permanent connection spark to spark from 2 or more Cybertronians. Can be between conjuxed couple, but also happens with twins/triplets/etc, or combiners.
CNA: DNA
Amica, Conjuxed Amica: Very dear friends, but not more than friends. Another James Roberts creation!
Conjux, Conjux Endura, Conjuxed: Married couple. Thanks James Roberts for that one! :)
Em field: Electronic field emitted by the Cybertronian that another can read / detect, no human equivalent
Energon: The blood of Cybertronian and what they drink as “food’.
Enforcer: Police officer
Kibble: All the parts that had to be removed for one reason or another. It grew to mean parts of alt mode visible in their other modes as well.
Pad: Tablet computer
Split-spark twins: Twins created from a single spark, and it “magically” turned into 2, similar to identical twins. Though they don’t necessarily have the same physical appearance.
Subspace: A storage area that doesn’t physically exist, yet they use it all the time. Thanks the 80’s for the art errors and pulling a weapon out of thin air for that term.
Body part, SFW
Aft: Butt
Armor: The outer part of the frame, what’s easy to see and colourful.
Audials: Ears
Chevron: Part of the helm, on the forehead, that looks like 2 colorful prongs. See Prowl for red chevron.

Nasal ridge: Nose
Optic: Eye
Oral lubricant: Spit
Ped: Foot
Plating: The outer part of the frame, what’s easy to see and colourful.
Processor: Brain
Protoform: Inner part of the “skin”, under the plating or armor.

Servo: Hand
Spark: A ball of energy that contains the “soul” of the Cybertronian. Considered located in the chest
Strut: Bone
Type of Cybertronian:
Combiner: A team of Cybertronian that, when transforming, can combine into a giant being instead of individuals. See Devastator or Defensor.
Aerial: Type of frame for a flier that doesn’t look like a Seeker
Conehead: Frame type of fliers very similar to Starscream, except they have their nose cone on their helm, looking like they wear a giant cone
Femme: A Cybertronian having a “feminine” shape. Though some exceptions exist, see Strika
Grounder: Type of frame having wheels. Often derogatory.
Kaonite: Cybertronian from Kaon. Often associate with large, strong frame type, and mainly Decepticon

Someone mentioned that digital storage using DNA was a thing and I then thought about rain world pearls and I did some hypothetical math.
In short, you could--if I did this all right-- play Doom on a pearl.
#rain world#what is this again. what'd I tag the rot post#uhhh#lore stuff#Pearls are cool I have a newfound respect for those thangs.

what is the world seems very geiger but like what’s the setting is the whole world mechanical or just this weird section
is there any outside world
what sort of currency is used
are the groups their human/humanoids
how big are the three cults
are there any major groups outside them
is the game based around like herding your flock since your a shepherd
can i have a pet vent dog
are there major groups besides the big cults
what sort of food do the cults eat
at the moment, the world that we see is largely oceanic, with massive tower-like structures dotting the surface. these are large enough to extend all the way down. they may have been power generators, digital storage, manufacturing plants, but whatever they used to be have long broken down, overgrown with their biological components and retaken by a sick, basal form of nature
currency comes in many forms, though trinkets like shells, coins, and bolts are most often used. ('trinkets' is also what they'll be called mechanically)
eeeeehh? there's some genetic descendants of humanity, Lambthing has 38% human-specific DNA, but pureblooded humans are long, long extinct. the human bodyplan has reevolved and been reused for augmented designs many, many times over, though
the three cults are the singular organizational powers, at least among the towers you'll visit in-game. they decide the laws, the customs, the culture, but if i'm being entirely frank, this doesn't really matter to the average sophont? it's like being some farmer in medieval europe: you don't really care all that much about who's in power, it's just a different king to pay taxes to
there probably are externally, but most forces that oppose them internally will end up squashed
i was actually considering that as a Bountiful Flesh boon, domesticating things rain world-style. . .
depends on the cult! most sophonts are gonna hunt, scavenge, farm, or fish for their own food, but each cult does have a "customary" food, in some sense. the Worm God's followers may parasitize themselves, with lower members being blood-bags for the hemophagic higher members. the machine cult's followers prefer wines, juices, anything you can put through a press. the Bountiful Flesh followers absolutely adore ritual cannibalism.
do keep in mind that these may be subject to change :D

Digital Monster: D-Project - Final Thoughts
Some quick stats:
This is my 13th Digimon game completed in less than 2 years, yay me!
This game took me 10 days to play. Love me a game that doesn't overstay its welcome.
This game was fantastic! It was probably most similar to the first Digimon World gameplay-wise, but waaay less convoluted and a lot cuter. Unlike in DW I had no problem getting the digivolutions I wanted and progressing through the game at a comfortable pace. There were a few "guide dang it!" moments here and there, but the game is mostly reasonable about hinting at what you're supposed to be doing. Full thoughts below.
Notes:
I loved the meta premise of this game. Basically when you boot it up, DemiDevimon comes along and "corrupts your game file." You then get sucked into the game world, "Swan World" (geddit, cuz Wonderswan?) The rest of the game is dedicated to restoring your corrupted surroundings and returning evil digimon to their nice forms. Very satisfying.
The v-pet aspect of the game was fun. The controls for calling/releasing your digimon were very intuitive. I liked how I could release them in various places like I was putting them out to pasture. The only really annoying thing was keeping the digimon fed because you had to input 4 digits to get one meat over and over and over again.
Of course I just used a guide to figure out the right codes, but the "enter a code and get a mystery digiegg" gimmick was cute. I really liked the animation of the egg slowly generating. It was a little weird because what digiegg you started with didn't matter much in the end, but oh well.
For some reason you have the ability to praise and scold your digimon? I understand praising because maybe it raises their happiness (I never actually checked), but there is no advantage to scolding in this game as far as I could tell.
Instead of the DW1 digivolution mechanic where you need a PHD in digivolving to get the right digimon, you just raise them in a certain environment to get the desired outcome. SO much easier. I liked that I could switch from line to line going from rookie to champion to make the game go quicker.
Except for the crazy last boss, it sort of felt like the difficulty level remained the same throughout the whole game. I brought a rookie into many battles, for example, and ended up being fine.
Omg the sprites in this game are so good!! Battling was so fun to watch (you can button mash to improve accuracy, but you don't really participate). Some kind soul uploaded all the sprites for download. I thought the Kyubimon victory animation was really funny:
Once I discovered jogress/DNA evolution I was like HELL YEAH 🔥🔥🔥 cuz the animation was so badass and took up like half the screen (wish I got more screenshots). There was also a really satisfying "BOOM!" sound effect during digivolution.
Lots of colorful, fun environments (especially compared to the last game which was blah). Another quality of life complaint is you have to go all the way to the start of the map every time you need food. There should have been more shortcuts to get from place to place.
I was actually kind of grateful that digimon die in this game. They have a pretty long lifespan, which is nice, but sometimes you need to clear up storage in your PC or you want the chance to raise a different type, so mons dying wasn't as soul crushing as in previous games.
If you can't read Japanese, I think I'd still recommend this game. The visuals and gameplay are enough to carry it and the controls/menus are pretty simple.
I give Digital Monster: D-Project an 8 out of 10

For years, a peaceful, million-dollar farm in Indiana hid a dark secret: It was a serial killer’s playground.
When cops finally raided Herb Baumeister’s 18-acre property in Westfield, north of Indianapolis, they uncovered some 10,000 pieces of human remains — mostly crushed and burned skeletal fragments of the teenage boys and young men whom he had abducted and murdered in the 1980s and ’90s.
Nearly 30 years after Baumeister killed himself while on the run from police, authorities are still sifting through the remains and identifying victims.
The Hamilton County coroner announced last month that human remains recovered from Baumeister’s Fox Hollow Farm in 1996 were positively identified as those of Jeffrey A. Jones, who went missing in 1993.
Four additional DNA profiles found at Baumeister’s property have not been identified, bringing the total number of his victims to 12, Hamilton County Coroner Jeff Jellison said.
“Because many of the remains were found burned and crushed, this investigation is extremely challenging; however, the team of law enforcement and forensic specialists working the case remain committed,” Jellison said.
Baumeister, a businessman and married father of three, hunted gay teens and men in central Indiana beginning in at least 1980. He’s believed to have killed at least 25 people, Fox News Digital reported.
He reportedly used the fake name “Brian Smart” and targeted young gay men he met at bars.
Jones was the third victim identified by the coroner’s office in the last six months.
Before him, officials identified Allen Livingston, who was 27 when he went missing in August 1993, and Manuel Resendez, who was 34 when he vanished in 1996.
Baumeister, who moved into the farmstead with his family in 1988, used its sprawling yard and adjacent trail to hide thousands of decomposed remains until his teenage son discovered a human skull and brought it to his mother.
His wife, who initially blocked law enforcement from searching their property, later divorced her husband as more evidence began to pile up against him.
Authorities eventually searched the property when Baumeister wasn’t home and found the bodies of several victims.
Baumeister, who was 49 at the time, fled to Ontario, Canada, in 1996 after a warrant was issued for his arrest, and later fatally shot himself.
He was never charged with the murders and he did not admit to any of the crimes in his suicide note.
The remaining unidentified bones and bone fragments had been sitting in storage until Jellison decided it was time to reopen the case in 1996, according to WRTV.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office along with the FBI, Indiana State Police Laboratory, Dr. Krista Latham of the Biology & Anthropology Department at the University of Indianapolis and DNA experts from Texas-based Othram Lab are all working to identify the additional remains.

DNA technology now offers both data storage and computing functions for the first time
- By Nuadox Crew -
Researchers from North Carolina State University and Johns Hopkins University have developed a technology that uses DNA for both data storage and computing functions, enabling operations like storing, retrieving, erasing, and rewriting data, which was previously impossible with DNA-based systems.
Led by Albert Keung, the project aims to overcome challenges in integrating storage and processing, common in conventional computing, within a DNA framework.
The breakthrough relies on soft polymer structures called dendricolloids, which support high-density DNA storage. This structure allows for key functions like copying, erasing, and rewriting DNA data without damaging it. The team successfully solved basic computational problems with this technology, demonstrating its potential to store massive amounts of data securely for long periods.
The system, dubbed a “primordial DNA store and compute engine,” is a collaborative effort involving contributions from experts in microfluidics, sequencing, and data algorithms. Researchers hope this advancement will inspire future work in molecular computing, much like early computers sparked the digital age.
The research, published in Nature Nanotechnology, was funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), with some researchers holding interests in commercializing DNA-based systems.

Ok so Lore dump time. So I said I will be doing the guardians Magiolems but I realized that I never talk about the current Keeper. But I'm sticking to my word. Now all Magiolems have the ability to teleport to each other and speak telepathically so i won't be repeating that. They can also repair them selves if damaged if material they are made out if around or use spare magic to heal. I might have to spilt this into two parts. So without a futher ado the Guardians
Name Gravitos(Grav-I-Tos) He/Him/It
Appearance: Is a large house like mech. Mainly colored a dark wooden brown with a coffee colored bricks and dark Grey joints.
Aura:Unlocked Semblance:Targeting he can keep track to up 15 different people no matter where they are in Remenat.
Magic:Gravity(He push or pull things towards himself. Make things lighter or heavier. Compress objects by making a gravity bubble. Make a barrier around himself to reflect attacks.) Size change(Can make himself the size of 8 story building or as small as a paladin.) Magic sensing.
Other notes: Gravitos is by far the strongest and largest of the Guardians. He's also the oldest living Guardian being 1000 of years old. He's does have a soul and Aura. He's not active the current story because his size makes him quite noticeable. He's usually about the size of the Atlas mech used to kill the Levatin in Argus. He's a calm mostly silent being not capable of speaking outside his body or the connection with other Guardians. He is straight to the point not caring how mean it makes him seem. He will often use violence as a eay to quickly complete hus missons as few things by themselves are threats to him. Also highly intelligent and experienced. He acts as a sort of data storage and digital assistant when his body is not active. His main purpose was to hold people and torture them for info.
Main Inspiration is from a graphic novel called Amulet with a vehicle that looked like a house. Photo below.
Name: Souless Stalker They/Them/It
Appearance: A lanky android with light metal and it's entire body. A flattish face expect two bulging glowing eyes and a jaw with razor sharp teeth. Claws on hands and feet. Tends to hunch over when not in combat or mimicking someone.
Aura:No not possible
Magic: Flesh Growth(With a small amount of DNA he can grow large amounts of that DNA.) Size Change. Fire. Voice Mimic(Can mimic any voice its heard before) Magic sensing(The ability to sense Magic and magic users location and how much Magic they have.) Shape-shifting(Able to change the shape of his body to fix the situation) Invisibly(Make it unable to be seen)
Other Notes: Souless is the most outright Dangerous of the Guardians. Remember Shiver? Well this guy is literally made out of it. Now unlike Anti-Aura metal silver eyes can't negate the effects or destory Shiver. Soulless is mentally unstable and often attacks others than are Magiolems or the Keeper. It is brutal and mercilessly in fights. Very good with robotics and copying people. It can mimic any fighting style it sees but not semblances. It even creeps out the other Magiolems and stays off for ustablely. It can grow flesh on its self to copy the looks of other people. Hates all Arcs and will enter a violent rage to murder them no matter what.(Yes even Adrian) Lastly crippling fear of Ozma(All hosts) and Salem runs away if it sees them and if it can't it curls up into a ball and makes crying noises.
Main Inspiration: The Mimic from Fnaf
Name: Fern *Name may change on a later date*
Appearance: He is a human skeleton covered in moss and vines to move around. His body when under disguise is a slightly tanned Japanese man with dark green hair. He where a large rimmed hat and a long white coat with deep pockets. White button up shirt with blue pants and Thick brown boots.
Aura:Yes Semblance:No
Magic:Plant control(He can grow, control and even connect to plants) Mushroom control(He can grow and control plants) Plant Monsters(He can make plant monsters such as a toxic gas shooting hryda or a wolf deer hybrid. Note all made out of plant and mushroom matter) Strength boosting(He is able to boost his strength even futher than others are able normally.) Growth(He adds to his own mass to increase the power of blows and make himself faster) Bullet seed(Able to shoot seeds out of his hands like bullets and also be turned into machine gun fire rate and even cannon shots with cocnuts.
Other notes: this is the a currently active Guardian that guards a collection of Grimm and Plants stored in Small magic pocket dimension spheres. Some even thought to be extinct like the Nightmare Grimm. His base is a old town over run with plants surround by a thick lay of trees and highly toxic plants. He is a smug amd proud fighter. He's speaks with an American Gangster Accent. He gets angry when his plants are destroyed. He helps those when ot can benefit him and his boss or hurt the Arcs. He likes to talk a lot by is often alone for longs periods of time due to his Job. Likes to watch crimes shows.
Main Inspiration: The man on the internet song on Floral Fury
Thats all for now. There is 3 Guardians left. Wow this was strangely tiring. Is that normal? Anyway stuff is open to change on later dates.
Thoughts? Criticism? Ideas?
OH! I remember Amulet! It's been a while since I read it, so I might have to reread it. Honestly, Gravitos kinda reminds me of the wardens from Darksiders.
Just this huge, massive thing that acts as an obstacle/gate.
The Soulless Stalker sounds absolutely terrifying. Especially that "hates all Arcs even Adrian" bit. That's a set up for a horror scene if I've heard one. Kinda got sort of a Warhammer Flayed One vibe from it.
This walking nightmare of flesh and metal makes me SHIVER every time! Ah? Ah? Ah, screw it...
Honestly, Fern sounds like a decent fella. Can't really think of a character to compare him to, except maybe Poison Ivy or Swamp Thing.
Covered in green and dedicated to protecting the Green.

"He, uhh... The bat sends his regards."
"... He what?"
Red Hood stares down the goon before him. They were beat, but not as bad as they normally could've been. Instead of sending them off to jail, the Batman seems to have decided to turn Red's lucky into a messenger.
Said lackie was tied and cuffed to a reinforced metal briefcase, lined with thin layers of lead and sealed with several locks to ensure anyone trying to open it would have a hard time.
Freeing his goon was the easy part. A digital, physical and DNA reading lock felt like a little too much for whatever Batman could possibly trust Red Hood with.
Unless it was a bomb.
Luckily, it wasn't.
Perhaps Red Hood would've preferred a bomb.
Instead what he gets are several files organized in manilla envelopes, a high end laptop and several empty terabytes of external storage, a map of Park Row with marked locations, a black metal credit card noted to have no limit...
And a note.
By now, the goon wisely leaves the room as Red slowly lifts the small, carefully placed note from the safety of the cramped briefcase.
He knows that writing. Knows the pen it was written with (it was his favorite, too, even if fountain pens were difficult to use). The message is simple but leaves Red Hood stunned and feeling dry in the mouth.
At some point he remembers to breathe.
Then puts the letter and everything back exactly where he found it, slamming the case shut and balling his fists tight against the protective metal.
It feels like a trap. It feels like a sick game. After everything, after all the blood and smoke and tears and heartbreak, why now? Why would he...?
He isn't sure what to do.
So he shuts everything down for the night. Orders his small team of goons to go home. They'll get paid as usual. He makes sure they get paid for the dirty work he puts them through.
He cleans, counts the money, sorts out what he owes, then goes home just before dawn, briefcase in hand.
The early morning is spent carefully taking apart everything, looking for bugs, trackers, searching through programs and folders for anything suspicious.
It drove him up the wall... But it was all clean.
Eventually, after resisting the urge to throw everything out the window, he pieced it all back together and drank the last of the beer in his fridge, taking out some cold soup and chugging it down like it'd cure him of some sickness.
All that was left out in the end was the note.
It's shake his core with implication alone...
"Prove me wrong.
-B"
It'd shake him. And Jason wasn't sure what to do if this meant at all what he thought it did.
He... Almost wasn't sure if he was ready to chance turning anything on...
Maybe some sleep would calm his nerves...

LoL Rants: Thoughts on the Machine Harold
Ooohoohoo! I have thoughts on the Machine Harold & this is just from the perspective of someone who's a fan of Arcane & only knows a few little scraps about LoL & hasn't really seen much gameplay, let alone played. (Have mercy, I'm still a baby fan.)
Let's start off with the fact that I don't even know the sort of advancements that they've made as far as neurology & computers. Yes, there are robots, but robot brains & ai are very different from human brains. It's because of these differences that Viktor is actually S.O.L. for being able to totally get rid of his flesh without seriously hampering his mental capacities. At least if they try to keep it as realistic as possible.
Just to put things into perspective, "the memory capacity of the human brain was reported to have the equivalent of 2.5 petabytes of memory capacity. As a number, a 'petabyte' means 1024 terabytes or a million gigabytes, so the average adult human brain has the ability to store the equivalent of 2.5 million gigabytes of digital memory."
"To put that in perspective, according to Computerworld, Yahoo – the Internet giant – has created a specially-built 2.0 petabyte 'data warehouse.' Yahoo uses the immense information storage capacity of this data warehouse to analyze the behavior of its half-a-billion monthly visitors. “It is not only the world’s single-largest database, but also the busiest.”"
"By comparison, the IRS’s own massive data warehouse, which keeps track of 300-plus million Americans and many more millions of businesses, has the capacity of 150 terabytes of memory. Yet Yahoo’s 2.0 petabyte computational center, which can process 24 billion 'events' a day, is a full 20 percent smaller than the capacity of a single human brain." - CNS or Clinical Neurology Nevada
This means, that in order for Viktor to completely get rid of his flesh, he'd need an entire building to store the supercomputer that would be his brain. Which would put a solid target on his back.
Please, keep in mind that the average data warehouse is around 100,000 square feet.
Which is this big:
With a 250,000 square foot building being about this big:
And THIS!
Is Yahoo's 2 Petabyte storage facility, if I'm reading it correctly!
That... is a fuckton, my friend! And it's still not able to store as much data in the human brain. For that, it'd need to be 20% bigger!
ALL that space just to house the equivalent of a single human brain! The AVERAGE human brain! Now, just imagine how much space someone like Viktor would require.
And that's just the human brain's capacity for memory. I remember reading somewhere that every cell in the human body stores information & that this is why transplants can cause people's personalities to change after recieving one. They're taking on aspects of the donor's personality. This is the theory of Cellular Memory. If this theory is, indeed, fact, then it would actually take even more space to store all that data.
Hell, apparently, a group at Columbia recently managed to store 214 petabytes of data, including a full freaking computer operating system inside A GRAM of DNA!!
The average human male has around 223 grams of DNA.
That's 47,722 petabytes & that still isn't accounting for everything!
That's almost 20 THOUSAND TIMES the amount of information that the brain stores! So, if Viktor wants to preserve as much information as he can & not sacrifice any important data, then that means that he'd need a place 20,000 times the size of the warehouses that I already showed above!
No matter what Viktor may want to believe, technology just can't match what flesh can manage, at least in terms of space.
An ai nowadays, however, can be measured in number of kilobytes. Petabytes being the equivalent of 1,000,000,000,000,000 bytes. A kilobyte, on the other hand, is only 1,000 bytes! That is a HUGE difference!
How much of this can magic make up for?
As such, it's more efficient to keep his actual flesh brain & contain it within a nearly indestructible body as the human brain is simply, by & far, the most efficient information database that exists at this time. At least as far as space goes.
Because of this, he'd also need to keep sleeping because sleep is a fundamental function for brain maintenance.
One, it helps us to organize the information we receive throughout the day, as well as flushes out toxins that build up during the day.
Again, unless Viktor has found a way to keep himself from building up these toxins to begin with, then he'll need to continue sleeping.
He might be able to find a way to make his sleep more efficient by maximizing the amount of energy he gets while minimizing the amount of sleep he needs to get it, but so long as he has a flesh brain, sleep is required.
Also, because he'd have to keep his flesh brain, Viktor couldn't really get rid of his lungs completely as that'd require him completely replacing each & every single one of his cells at the same time. Because every cell in your body needs oxygen to operate. This includes brain cells. Without oxygen, your brain will suffocate & die.
Therefore, oxygen is a must.
I also honestly doubt that Runeterra science has advanced into cellular engineering.
I could see him installing an air filter though. Or building a pair that more efficiently intakes & distributes oxygen throughout his body is also plausible.
Regardless of what he chooses, he'll need some way of getting oxygen to the few cells he has even if it's via vents.
The same could be said for his heart. Unless he's entirely gotten rid of his need for blood, he'd still need something able to provide his brain with oxygen, glucose, & other nutrients.
Even if Viktor manages to replace his heart with an artificial one, it'd still beat. We've built artificial hearts irl & they beat.
I also don't see how he could get rid of his stomach as it acts as an engine by converting organic matter into energy used to sustain his body. Perhaps he could build a more efficient alternative, but not totally get rid of it unless he relies entirely on magic to run his systems.
Again, his brain requires glucose & other nutrients to keep functioning, so unless magic can replace that, he'll need to keep the stomach.
And even if he did find a way to do this, depending on how common Hex Crystals are & how much work it takes to refine them into the more durable HexTech Gemstones, it might just end up being more trouble than it's worth to do so. Using more energy & resources than it provides.
Otherwise, he'd just be doing so because he can & realizing just how inefficient it is afterwards due to the high maintenance requirements of it when compared to only needing to eat a few meals a day to keep running.
It's much more effective to find a way to make his stomach more efficient, minimizing on the space required, & using both organic energy & magic at the same time. That way, organic energy goes to vital functions & magic can be used for non-vital functions.
It's like how hybrid cars are more energy efficient than either conventional cars or entirely electrical cars individually.
If nothing else, Viktor is utilitarian.
It'd also be stupid to not have tactile sensors or a way to gage temperature as it makes it easier to know when things get close to damaging you.
I mean, the weather has adverse effects on machines too.
Also, what would even be the point of getting rid of your taste buds?
Or touch? Or smell?
I also highly doubt that he got rid of his junk either, because otherwise, he wouldn't need to wear that loincloth.
Don't get me wrong, the idea of a robo-dick is supercool if done well, but you need to have the means to do it in order to make it & I just don't think Viktor does without the HexCore.
That sort of thing would probably require nanotechnology.
Actually, irl, there's this new artificial skin made by Caltech being made that is supposed to let robots be able to "sense temperature, pressure, & even toxic chemicals through a simple touch." Either way, it uses a gelatinous hydrogel & embedded into the gel are sensors that give the artificial skin its ability to detect the world around it. To get it in, a variety of inks of nanomaterials are injected into the surface like with a printer.
After printing a scaffolding of silver nanoparticle wires, the researchers then print layers of micrometer-scale sensors that can be designed to detect a bunch of stuff.
Thing is, there's no way Viktor has advanced tech far enough to make nanomachines. He'd need actual ferromancy.
—
I also highly doubt he actually managed to truly get rid of all of his emotions. Maybe dampen them so that they're less intense, but not entirely dispense with them.
Because if he does not get any fulfillment from his work (not even the satisfaction of a job well done), then what's keeping him doing it?
I know this because loss of motivation & drive is a known symptom of emotional blunting (which I suffer from) & apathy, which is when someone finds it more difficult to feel emotions. Imagine how low your motivation would be if you were entirely without emotions?
Further, if he truly got rid of his emotions, then his morals would be entirely dictated by logical pros vs cons as moral judgment is driven by both reasoning & emotion.
Things like disgust, shame, pride, anger, guilt, compassion, & gratitude.
If one does not have emotions, what value do things like morals & fairness even have? Let alone ideology?
What would push you forward?
Drive? Drive is an instinctual motivation towards action. For example, a drive for hunger is an innate need to engage in eating or a behavior which will satisfy a desire for sustenance.
Desires are also a type of very base emotion, so that's out too.
Want? Want is just another word for desire, so no to that also!
In order for Viktor to keep going as the Machine Harold without at least some base emotion as motivation, he'd need to be following some internal program that he built into himself. One that he specifically put in place before the operation in order to keep himself on track in following the old Viktor's moral judgment.
A moral judgment that, in & of itself, was driven by some of the most basic emotions. Therefore, he is either a hypocrite for being controlled by a program that was based on morals & thus emotions, or he has emotions & knows it, therefore he's a liar for saying that he 'evolved' passed the need for them when, in reality, you can't have morals without some form of emotional motivation & ideology is based on both conviction, belief, & opinion. Which are all emotions. Conviction actually being one of the most intense known emotions. Or he does have emotions, but doesn't realize that he does.
Meanwhile, machines without the influence of humans, are entirely without internal bias or personal opinion. All that truly matters is absolute, objective fact.
Thus, the very fact that he strives for a 'Glorious Evolution' is proof that he is a false idol driven by emotion in one form or another.
Otherwise, I doubt that he'd be doing much of anything.
In the end, a truly perfect body wouldn't be one entirely devoid of emotions so much as one that is able to separate emotion from reasoning &, failing that, is able to learn to control their emotions. That way, the body keeps the benefits of having emotions while largely avoiding the downfalls.
My suggestion? An internalized dial used to adjust the strength of one's emotions, but never to the point where there are none.
It's also possible based on the fact that his machinery is run on magic, that the magic gives him a form of replacement emotions. For all I know, he might not even notice these things.
If not for magic's presence in his body, he & Blitzcrank would likely be devoid of all desire to do anything beyond what they were programed to.
Realistically speaking, without emotion, his advancement would suffer immensely due to a lack of passion & inspiration on his part.
You can work as hard as possible & as often as possible, but a single spark of inspiration can render all that work meaningless.
By all accounts, by getting rid of his emotions, he'd be simplifying himself. Dumbing himself down.

Here's my introduction to My blog by the musical likes of my characters and their world.
here there are the two of them with their music and comparason of what they like
Van likes the punk and rock genres, here's her top three
Alex likes more cinema classics, videogame OSTs and mallsoft, here's his top three
Their personalities are directly opposites because they took different paths in life
Their social DNA 🧬 is different between each other.
Alex is more old school when it comes to aesthetics and studies when it comes to taste, he's more vaporwave and academia.
While Van likes more cyber and neo digital styles, she loves techwear and digital minimal design

Say hello to this sweet little child!
So, Trouble Maker. Oh my, this story gonna be big. Let's start with her dad. Megatronus, popular gladiator of Cybertron. He fights with rage and always wins, but sometimes he looses some of his parts. Thankfully he can afford repairing himself, sometimes he upgrades himself, and his old parts usually being sold to some fanatics or scientists. That decision wasn't the best he did, but he was to young to see that. When the war started, a group of autobots' scientists run away, hided on a moon, and started their new base there. They were building machines, guns, creating new armory, even biological weapons. They were stealing deceptions' blueprints, following their steps. And one day, one of them decided to create a super soldier. Fem bot called Digit discovered that they actually had the access to Megaton's DNA(or CNA is that what it called on Cybertron?), one of the scientists bought a spare part of Megatron's brain(? Sorry I am not in that cyber things the thing is that part contains his logic and strategy abilities, I believe he decided to upgrade his brain to become even more powerful) wanting to study his unique abilities, but now when autobots have some of Decepticons blueprints, they can make something even better. Shockwave's technology of growing a new organism using part of an old one, and some Megatron's CNA helped Digit to create a soldier, as big and as smart as Megatron, his perfect opponent that could finally kill him... Well, not exactly... She used this technology for the first time, so the end product was a little... defective. Little girl was developing very good, but she opened her eyes way faster that she needed to, started looking around, wondering. Digit couldn't take it, it was a sweet little child, some mom instincts woke up in her, and she freed her sooner that she supposed too. The girl was small, just like a regular Cybertronian child, but she already got a grownup brain, she was smart, but mentally of course still a child. So the moment she escaped the tube, she started running around, looking at everything, touching everything. Scientists weren't ready. Who would think that such a little thing can cause so much destruction? The laboratory was a big mess, so they all collectively decided to call this little one Trouble Maker.
Trouble was growing, she was supposed to be as big and strong as Megarton, but Digit used this inconvenience to make her even stronger. They were teaching little trouble how to shoot, how to fight, how to create a strategy, they were preparing her to kill Megatron, but of course they kept away from her the fact that Megatron was technically her father. Even coded this information in their journal so little smart girl wouldn't accidently find out. It was all going very well, right until one moment. Eventually Decepticons found the secret base.
It happened when Trouble was 8 human years, still very small but already old enough to understand what's going on. They saw the big army of flying transformers approaching. They all knew what's going to happen. They started hiding everything, hiding important files, hiding their inventions. Digit came up to her daughter. She said they are going to play hide and seek, but she needs to hide in a place where nobody could find. Trouble knew that is not true, but what could she do? She hid in a storage with the rusty energon, it wasn't good for consuming, but was perfect for running machines of the laboratory, and it was well hidden, nobody cared for this little storage. And that was a very good thing... She heard shoots, she heard screams, booms, it was a chaos... it didn't last long, all this bots were scientists, not fighters... decepticons started collecting everything they could get, energon, machines, computers, they loaded all of it on one of too starships that was on the moon, they would also take the second one but it was broken. And then they started preparing to fly away. Trouble was sitting in a storage, scared, but dead silent. She couldn't let them find her. She heard heavy footsteps. Two decepticons was coming her way, making sure they took everything. One of them saw the storage. He stopped, and looked inside, and he even gasped happily that he found more enegron, but then he noticed the child. Small, crying, looking at him with her big eyes, thinking she will die right now... "Knockout, you found something?" Second decepticon approached, but first immediately closed the storage door. "I thought I saw energon but it was just a spill." "Shame. Let's go back, nothing left here" And they went away... This decepticon saved her?... Why did he do that? She didn't know... But she will remember his face till the end of her life. Trouble waited for a little bit and decided to finally get out. Everybody was gone. Some energon was spilled on the floor, she knew someone was injured... She managed to see how one of the spaceships is flying away, with all her people inside... She was left and forgotten.
Time started passing by. Trouble needed to find her way out of this abandoned base on the moon. Luckily her grownups left her some hidden things, not everything was taken. She found a computer that she started using to learn how to repair the second spaceship. She was using some old appliances to make herself toys, training her sniper skills, fighting with loneliness. Big problem of hers was the energon. Some of that rotten one was left, and she needed it to live. So she started consuming it, but she also was saving it, eating only the small portions and not every day, she learned to keep energy by sleeping. Of course that impacted the way she was growing, she was supposed to grow up big and strong, but his diet only gave her small and weak body. She lost her ability to express emotions with her face, it just atrophied, and her sound detectors(ears) became very sensitive, but that was absolutely no problem, she was alone anyway. Her skills were becoming better and better, she slowly was repairing her spaceship, only thinking about her mother... wanting to find her, to find all other autobots, and now WANTING to kill Megatron... He was the one who did it to her, and he is going to pay. One day she saw something in the sky, big... circle, she didn't know what was that, but she saw someone up there, building it more and more... And one day she woke up to the big explosion of that circle, and she saw blue color... That was energon. That was transformers. Her people were around here somewhere. She became even more desperate to finish the space ship, she only knew about other autobots by the pictures in her computer, but she knew that they will understand her, and finally, one day, she did it. Her Spaceship was finished. She took all of her things, all the toys, all the energon that left, all the machines, and finally escaped the moon. She flew to the Earth, sending SOS signals to find her people, but little did Truoble Maker know what will happen to her in the future... Yay! Finally! If you've read all the way down here than I am impressed! Thank you! This is not the end, this is only the start, and if you want to know what will happen next, then please tell me that! Also sorry for mistakes if you see them! Love you all <3

We are the Uberbeing.
In reality, in existence, humanity stands as the undisputed apex, a beacon of superiority in intellect, adaptability, and innovation. When catastrophe knocked upon our door, we faced it, fragmented, and eventually return, usually stronger than we were before. Our prowess shines through our ingenious machines, from the palm-sized marvels of modern smartphones to the colossal robotic construction monoliths known as Pentaconsts. They are our creations, our extensions, designed to fulfill our every need, amplifying our capabilities, and empowering us to reach new heights.
What sets humanity apart, you ask? It's not just our ability to conquer, but our resilience, our spirit, and our unquenchable thirst for knowledge and progress. We've extended our hand to uplift other races, to bridge the gap and grant them a glimpse of our boundless potential. But, alas, not all races share the same attributes that define us.
Among those who dare challenge us, they falter, and their flaws become evident. Their cultures, riddled with stagnation and inefficiency, pale in comparison to the dynamism that humanity embodies. And let us not forget the iterators, a creation born from the Ancients, whose misguided pursuit of transcendence left them shackled by biomechanical systems and insane limitations. In their world, advancement remained stunted, while we soared towards the infinite. We have shown that even the "formidable" iterators can be reduced in size easily with our vastly superior technology, their once mighty intellects contained within laptops, or more ideally for them, their own chamber puppets. Their reliance on biomechanical technology, an outdated and primitive construct, only serves to highlight their inadequacy.
The Ancients, the progenitors of the iterators, stand as a testament to the dangers of their misguided endeavors. Their fixation on biomechanical integration and their descent into ascensionist madness epitomize the consequences of forsaking the path of true progress. Unlike us, they failed to harness the true potential of space travel, DNA being used for storage in drives (DNADs), and digital computer components (among other things), clinging to archaic notions of leaving their "Cycles" that led to them never leaving their home planet, and instead throwing themselves into the giant ascension pool under their planet that we now use as a reliable source of energy for our greater technology.
And then there's the Komplexer Computer, a rare instance in which Valkyria dipped into the realm of biomechanics, an exception that proves the rule. Our mastery of this technology has allowed us to create a biomechanical superintelligence and control its opinions and have it be capable of maintaining itself for millions of years to come, demonstrating our ability to harness the very best of both worlds without succumbing to the inferiority of the Ancients and their standstill and eventually nonexistent state.
Humanity prevails as the undisputed superior race, ready to reclaim its destiny and reshape reality itself. To obstruct our path is to invite termination, for nothing and no one can halt our ascent to god status.

Explaining each track of the Get The Message reissue bonus disc.
basically just in case you didn’t know Get The Message - The Best of Electronic is getting reissued on the New Order website and it comes with a bonus disk of a bunch of songs, most of which previously unavailable on streaming in North America. I will point out the ones that were already available.
Getting Away with It (Vocal Remix)
So, Getting Away With It (GAWI) has several versions. This one specifically was the twelfth track of the cancelled Best of Electronic album, but hasn’t been officially released since the GAWI cassette and CD remix single, though that was already on streaming since 2013. Nice to see it on a compilation album like it desperately wanted.
Lucky Bag
B-side to GAWI. This was the first promo single for this bonus disc with Electronic’s social media claiming that it’s the first time the song has been released to streaming. It was not it was also available on that digital single. They just lied. It is an instrumental.
Feel Every Beat (DNA Remix)
This is one of the… 6 remixes available on the US CD single. This is the sixth one on the single, just before Second To None. Like GAWI (Vox) this is the first time since its initial release that it’s been printed. Unlike GAWI (Vox) though this was unavailable on streaming.
Lean to the Inside (2013 Edit)
One of two B-sides to FEB. Albeit it is for some reason the 2013 edit from Electronic Electronic’s special edition 10 years ago? I can only assume this was for storage space or something..? The full version is unavailable on streaming too so... weird.
Get the Message (DNA Groove Mix)
A remix of GTM by DNA. Features on the GTM CD single. Available on streaming everywhere except North America and on the American 2022 Record Store Day Mini Album.
Free Will (Edit)
Free Will is the B-side of GTM. The edit itself is probably the 7" one and is probably only down by a few seconds. Anyhow this is also an instrumental. Available on streaming everywhere except North America.
Disappointed (808 Mix)
Ended up being the second promo single! This indeed was completely unavailable on streaming before. Was the fourth track on one of the Disappointed singles.
Idiot Country Two
A remix of Idiot Country (don’t know who remixed it…) from the Disappointed single (theres a lot of variations), also on the 2013 release bonus disk and the RSD mini album. The third promo single, to my chagrin. I don't know why it was the third promo when it was already rereleased twice. Sigh.
Gangster (FBI Mix)
This is also from Disappointed. Previously unavailable on all streaming. Was on the RSD mini album.
I Feel Alright
B-side of For You, originally was meant to be on the cancelled Best of Electronic but when Get The Message first released, its sister, All That I Need, was placed instead. Previously unavailable on North American streaming.
A New Religion
B-Side of Forbidden City. Along with Imitation of Life although ANR was never meant to be on Best Of. This song is especially important if you’re invested in Bernard because it’s the only one he wrote the lyrics to (and partially rearranged) on Prozac. Previously unavailable on North American streaming.
Turning Point
B-side to Second Nature. Was on 2013 Self Titled albeit edited, so this is the first time the full song will be on American streaming.
Until The End Of Time (Fluffy Dice Remix)
UTEOT has a few remixes for its promo single but this one was mixed by Bernard himself. Yknow, GTM’s original tracklist was made by Johnny and Bernard filled in two songs that were missing. Ythink this is a similar case?
All alternate mixes of UTEOT were unavailable on streaming before this, in all regions to my knowledge. This one makes the most sense to reissue.
King For A Day
Bside to Late At Night (which is on GTM album), LAN was a withdrawn single. Previously unavailable on streaming in North America. But was released to Twisted Tenderness' deluxe edition CD. Previously unavailable to stream in North America.
Radiation
Ditto but it’s the Bside to Vivid instead. (And Vivid was not withdrawn…) Radiation is an instrumental. Also released to TT's deluxe CD and previously unavailable in North America.
uhhm. i don't have a conclusion. bye.
#blabber#tidbits#electronic#get the message#i will do one of these with the new substance things in a bit#hell maybe ill just explain comp album tracklists themselves that sounds fun
